David Kernot lives off-grid on an old mining property in the mid-north of South Australia and spends his days herding kangaroos to keep them away from his vegetable garden. At night he writes fantasy, science fiction, and horror, and has over seventy short stories published in Australia, the US, Canada, and the UK. He released his first dark sci-fi indie novel, Gateway Through Time, in 2020. It joins two novelettes and five collections of short fiction.
